This young play forest is divided in different zones where young children can play. The name was chosen by the youth of Poperinge and refers to the sound of a moving steam train. During WW1 the railroad Poperinge-Haezebrouck passed near this area. Now children can enjoy the fresh air and birds find shelter and a place to build their nest. The shallow pool and the canal network provide a habitat for the frogs.
