The craftsman ships house is a remnant of a large Craftsman ships farm ' Het Groot Gasthuisgoed '. The government agency Nature and Forest bought it in 2005 from the social welfare centre of Poperinge.
The building was in poor condition and was restored in 2015.
It’s located at the junction of the Helleketelweg with the Stoppelweg in Poperinge and serves as departure area for guided walks and activities.
